So please answer my following questions in English. If you found that you would miss the deadline of your customer, what would you do to settle it? ”

应聘者A:

“ En… I will try my best to finish the job, even if I should work overnight. And I will also communicate with my manager. ”

“ I should say that in our firm, it is very serious to miss the deadline. ”

应聘者A:

“ I see. I will ask my colleagues to help me. I won't miss deadline. If I missed, I would explain to the customer and take my responsibility. ”

“ Do you think that your oral English can survive this interview. ”

应聘者A:

“ I know my English is poor. But if I can be enrolled, my learning is very fast. ”

So please answer my following questions in English. If you found that you would miss the deadline of your customer, what would you do to settle it? ”

应聘者B:

“ Is there any possibility for me to meet deadline by working overnight? ”

“ I don't know. You may consider it as one scenario. ”

应聘者B:

“ Thanks. I think I will solve this problem in this way. First, I will check whether it is due to customer's problem, such as providing ineffective accounting information, that led to current situation. If the answer is yes, I will communicate with customer.
If it is our fault, deadline is deadline. I will try my best to meet it. I will calculate my workload and communicate with my senior to know whether there is hand to help me. Anyway, I decide to never stop working until the deadline.
Meanwhile, if it's impossible to finish my job on time after I consult my manager, I will notify the customer beforehand and ask for more time. It should be avoided to notify the customer at the moment of deadline.
After this accident, I must do some review. I will check whether the KEY problem lies in working methodology or the deadline itself is too tight to meet. If the deadline is too tight, I should notify the manager to re-negotiate the deadline with the client. ”

“ Do you think that your oral English can survive this interview. ”

应聘者B:

“ First, I should admit that I haven't paid enough attention to English during college, as I spent too much time on computer games. It's a mistake. I have realized it. But it's my dream to get into your company because xxx … So now I am trying my best to express myself.
If after this interview my English is your only concern about my qualifications, I wish to get 3 weeks and I will submit you're a study plan. I have consulted our English professor and he has agreed to help me. I also signed the contract with 3 native speakers to talk with me 10 hours per week.
In 3 weeks, I will come back and let you check my English proficiency. If I am not qualified either, I will leave. But I believe I could make you smile. ”

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

BeBeyond 听到无数学生用极其标准和流利的英语说出:“ Sorry, my English is poor. ”

你会用“ My English is poor ”来搪塞吗?
